Thank you for helping us give back

We all had such a fun time at the July 8, 2010 free Tannahill Weaver's concert!  The music was great, but it was also terrific to look out on the audience and see 700+ people there enjoying a live performance at Edgewater Park.  What's more, the generosity of those who came to the show with pre-packaged or canned food for our local food bank really was impressive.

According to the food bank people, we collected over 650 lbs. of food, and another $100 of donation that went directly to the food bank.  Thank you for your thoughtful gifts that will really make a difference in the lives of so many people.

 A Wonderful Highland Games

Thanks to our terrific team of volunteers, the generosity of our sponsors and the philanthropy of many donors and members of the Celtic Arts Foundation - we had a hugely successful 16th annual Skagit Valley Highland Games.  Wonderful music, beautiful weather - from top to bottom this was just about as good as we could have done!  Thanks for attending if you were able to join us, and if you missed one of the BEST Highland Games around (anywhere), please mark your calendar for next year, the second full weekend in July 9 & 10, 2011 at Edgewater Park in Mount Vernon, WA.
