Apply now!

The Celtic Arts Foundation Smallpipes Lending Program is an opportunity for pipers with at least one year of piping experience to try out the Scottish smallpipes!

The program will allow recipients the use of the CAF-owned set of Fred Morrison bellows blown smallpipes for three months for your own learning and playing enjoyment.

It's a relatively self-guided program, so applicants should be self-driven, ready to learn tunes on their own, and be willing to take care of instrument maintenance (although we'll be happy to help and answer your questions).

This program is geared towards people who have experience playing bagpipes already (Highland or other) and are curious about the Scottish smallpipes. If you're completely new to piping, we encourage you to try out the CAF Bagpipes for Beginners classes. Would you like to support this program? You can make a donation online today on our Support Us page.
