Beginning Fiddle Class Series

Four Mondays in March - March 2, 16, 23, 30 from 5:30pm-6:30pm
Tuition covers all four classes
$90/$80 ($10 discount for CAF Members)

Is it time to start your journey on the fiddle?! We hope so! Join fiddler Cayley Schmid for a 4-week course that will cover the fundamentals of fiddle technique to get you started. Open to all ages (adults, teens, and kids with chaperone all welcome, best suited for ages 9 and up). Please bring your own fiddle/violin and bow. On class day one (March 2), we'll spend time checking on everyone's instruments and making sure you have what you need to get going. Then you'll have a week off to get ahold of any additional equipment needed (shoulder rests, rosin, new strings, etc.). Starting class day two (March 16), we'll get more into technique, playing, and making fiddley sounds! :)
