Please join us for our 18th Annual Scotch Tasting Fundraiser at the Littlefield Celtic Center in Mount Vernon, WA! This popular event is for members of the Celtic Arts Foundation and their guests. If you are not currently a member, please join or renew here before signing up for this event.
Attendees will be treated to five unique Scotches with delicious small-plate pairings prepared by Gil Rodrigez and the Skagit Valley College Culinary Program. We will be guided through the evening by Carolyn Sellar of Adventures in Whisky who will share her knowledge and of each brand, region, and flavor profile. Guests will enjoy live music and hear about some of the programs and events we are offering at CAF.
The purpose of our Scotch Tasting Fundraiser is to learn about whisky, to enjoy tasty bites and good company, and to raise money to support the operations of the Celtic Arts Foundation. This is the only major fundraising event we do all year, and as such, we sincerely appreciate each and every donation made. As you celebrate with us we invite you to make a donation, or pledge-over-time, to help us “sponsor, encourage and promote Celtic culture through events and educational activities." For your convenience, we will gladly set up monthly automatic deductions, or you can make a one-time donation at the event.
Not a fan of Scotch but you'd still like to attend? Welcome! We'll have beer, wine, gin, and non-alcoholic drinks available at the bar to enjoy with your tasty bites.
If you can't make it to the Scotch-tasting, but would still like to support the work of the Celtic Arts Foundation, please click here.
Doors open at 4pm, and our pairings will begin at 4:30pm. Tastings will end by 6:30pm. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend.
The Scotch-Tasting Gala features a stunning five-course tasting menu, and each course is paired to complement a featured whisky. This year we'll be focusing on some wonderful and unique single malts.
